Happy belated Father's Day and Juneteenth! Juneteenth is one of the more important holidays that was long overdue to be recognized as a Federal obervation, celebrating the day federal troops arrived in Galveston, TX in 1865 to ensure all enslaved people were freed. As we celebrate the Emancipation Day of African Americans, we honor this country's historical and current struggle for Black liberation. To celebration this weekend, I was honored to show up in solidarity for Assembly Member Brian Cunningham's Juneteenth March to Freedom and had a blast at the Good Co. Bike Club's Freedom Bike Ride...
